“Chemical peel: worth every penny”

Chemical peel: Worth it

Cost: $850
Pain: Mild
Chemical peel satisfaction: Excellent5 Star Rating: Excellent

Personally, i think chemical peel is worth every penny spent. Although i know that nothing can reduce wrinkles as drasticlly as a face lift, but face lifts are really not for younger people. I am 38 and i don't have so many wrinkles ( as yet) that i would need a facelift. However, i do have pigmentation, windburn and some wrinkles that i wanted to remove. Botox could have been a good option, but just for the wrinkles and not for my wondburn. Chemical peel was a great problem solver and for mid age people, it is just right. Not as drastic as a facelift surgery( there are still some years before we will need that), but rightly mild and effective. What i like is that it not only reduces wrinkles, but also makes a huge difference to the skin.

I saw a great improvement in my face after chemical peel ( tca). My windburn is completely gone now. I had these dark patches all over my cheekbones which have gone now. The pain was ok, nothing too bad. It was burning a little during the application. Once i went home and the skin began to peel in the next few days, it was hard too go out as my face was really peeling, like a peel off face mask. Once the skin had peeled off, the new skin was slightly pinkish/whitish than usual but i used make up so it didn't matter. Gradually, my face got its color back, only with an additional smoothnes and clarity.
