No more 'itty bitty tittie'

So I finally had the op yesterday!

I can not believe i actually went through with it! It only took me the best part of 10 years uming and arghing!

I'm yet to actually view my results though. I have a sports bra on with a strap covering it. So far I've been to scared to remove anything for fear of damaging them!

So far the pain has been pretty job existent, however I can't seem to lift my arms as they are so stiff. Is this normal?

I've been told I can't shower or bath until Wednesday when I have my 1st post operative review... This upsets me more than the fact I've yet to see my new boobies!!!

3 weeks and 2 days .... (Not that I'm counting)

Till the big day! I can honestly say it still feels a lifetime away, and I'm still surprised I'm actually going through with it. It's only taken me 10 years of pondering. I think the impending 3-0 definitely was the turning point.

I must say though I hadn't been nervous before but after reading 1 lady's recent post op post the nerves are starting to kick in. Especially about the pain after... But nothing can be more painful than childbirth right???

I don't suppose anybody has any advice on what to use before the op, I'm sure I read somewhere bio oil is good to start now? Is there anything I should be investing in ready for surgery apart from the sports bra??

Hi ladies, I stumbled across this site when I was...

Hi ladies, I stumbled across this site when I was doing my research into BA. Reading all of the personal journeys has really helped me understand what i want from mine, so I thought I'd like to share mine in the hope it may help someone else.

I'm 5ft 5, 9stone and I have 2 young boys. I have always been extremely flat chested. (34a and even that isn't filled)

I have considered ba for many years, but never had the 'bottle' to go thought with it. However having now had children and breastfeeding my body shape has changed drastically and made my flat chest even more noticeable. Coupled with the fact that I am sooooo broad on top. Not a good combination at all.
