10 weeks post op today

Well it's been 10weeks now since my tummy tuck. I am still dealing with the open areas on my incision. I have not had much swelling today. I think today is the best I have felt as far as liking what I see in the mirror. It is nice to be wearing fitted tops again. This hasn't been an easy road to go down. I have heard of others returning to an exercise routine 4 weeks after their surgery. Not me. This has been tough. It still hurts some in my muscles when I even sneeze.

I had a TT back in April 2013. While I like the fact that I can now wear tighter fitted shirts again with out having someone ask me when my baby is due, I am equally frustrated with the incision opening up and now i have 3 holes to deal with along incision line. Nonsmoker, not diabetic. No real reason for me to have any issues in healing up. I was careful to not pull on the incision area and to do exactly as the PS said. Now I have 3 holes I have to keep covered. This prevents me from getting into the pool, hot tub, and ocean for the summer until these areas completely heal up and close. Right now its hard for me to feel good about the descision i made to do this. I have felt very emotional seeing these holes and how gross it looks. Its very slowly healing whichis leaving an uglier scar than what the original one looked like. Wondering if anyone else went through this and if you are now happy with your choice. I know there are bumps along the road and you have risks with all surgeries but I have never had issues healing inthe past from surgery. I am extremely healthy and never had issues.
