A good friend referred me to Dr. Smith due to the amazing work he has done for her and her exceptional experience she had with him. I am so thankful for this referral. From the moment I shook Dr. Smith's hand I knew that he was a genuine man who cares deeply for his patients and loves his work. I am they type of person who has to think through big decisions over and over and over but with Dr. Smith it was different, I met him on a Monday and was in for my Pre-op appt by that Friday to get instructions and my scar gel, and then scheduled surgery for the following Friday….I felt that comfortable. I scheduled a breast lift with implants and Dr. Smith is very good at explaining the pro's and con's between the different implants and approaches so feel confident that he will answer all your questions thoroughly and will give his honest opinion and recommendations. I also opted for the Voluma injections in my cheeks which was done during surgery, what an incredible product Voluma is!
Surgery:
I felt so relaxed during the entire pre-op time thanks to the staff. Amy, RN took such great care of me and made me feel at ease. I remember going into the OR and then woke up in Post-op where Shanti, RN made sure I was comfortable. I was in the office at 7 am and left by 11:30am, quick and easy!
Post-Surgery:
Wow, this has been so much easier than expected! Of course I was sore and for the first 2 days it was a bit difficult to get up and down but I managed. I was not bedridden by any means. Day 1 I showered and pretty much laid around for most of the day and Day 2 was pretty similar with more movement. By day 3 it was really easy to get up and down, walk around the house, drive to my Dr. appt, I may have even stopped by the mall :) You get the picture though, I was feeling good enough to do these things and honestly I did not expect it to be this easy. I am now post-op day 6 and feeling incredible. I still have some soreness but I am able to move my arms freely, walk around, work (no heavy lifting), drive, etc. I have not had any pain medicine since post-op day 2 and I have a low pain tolerance so this is very manageable. I am just so anxious to get these bad boys out and about, I'm ready for bikini season but I am going to have to wait a few months since Winter is just starting :) Dr. Smith's work is just so gorgeous, I cannot wait to post pictures for you all to see.
Voluma injections in my cheeks has been a game changer-wow, this is the most subtle sexiness ever that was added to my face…it accentuates my cheekbones and gives a sultry hot look. I had very little soreness from the injections. It may take a few days and can even take a few weeks from what I read for you to see results since it slowly disperses but when you see the results, you will love it! For me it was day 3 that I could really see a big difference.
Tips:
2 big bags of peas-20 min on 20 min off for three rounds for soreness/swelling. I did this over the first 3 days post op. I used a Coobie bra which was really comfortable and only about $15 online. Have a space set up for you to come home to after surgery with everything you need (lots of pillows, computer, chargers, etc).
