I felt comfortable with my surgeon - he does a ton of work in my area. I felt after 13 years with saline I should have my implants changed to silicone. Something went terribly wrong and I look awful....wish I could have my old set back.

After 13 years, I had my saline implants changed out to silicone.....I am 5 weeks post op and look terrible. My RT breast appears to have bottomed out and the left has some kind of pocket problem or something - it looks totally different and is pointing outward. Any idea as to what might have happened? My surgeon says he can do a revision but not even sure if this can be fixed....anyone?

I think they look beautiful, just a little too large, wrong size for your little body. Did they point out with the other implants, maybe sum and with the larger size, so it appears they face outward. Not bad.

Yep they look totally different. Wonder if after that long with implants you did not have enough tissue to support them (bottom).

Get your surgeon to explain what the issue is and what he plans to do exactly, in order to rectify the problem. Take notes. Then get consults with at least 2 other surgeons, let them try to figure out what went wrong, then provide them with the explanation from your original surgeon, in case it changes anything. Be careful NOT to play the surgeons off one another, as that will never turn out well. If your original surgeon is offering a discounted price to do the revision, he might be your best bet, if only because he's already familiar with the work of the previous surgeon (ie, himself), but if you suddenly 'click' with one of the other surgeons (and feel you're being treated right, and have seen amazing before/after pics) then you might want to consider going with what your gut is telling you to do. Make sure that you're dealing with board certified plastic surgeons when you get those consults.
