I saw Dr. Almeyda for Smart Lipo. It was awesome. All my gross stubborn fat got sucked out and about 2 months later I saw a drastic change in my silhouette! Those stubborn pouches of fat on my thighs that I tried so hard to starve or exercise away were finally gone!!!! My cellulite that I had since I was 15 was much less visible! My swelling was being stubborn and one night I had this awesome idea to put Saran Wrap around my thighs to seal in the Arnica Cream While I slept and when I woke up my swelling really went down a lot! She did an excellent job!!!!
It took about 5 months for me to really "see" my final result. i immediately went out and bought skinny jeans, spandex, and all the form-fitting stuff I had always wanted to wear but couldn't! I always have people asking me what kind of workouts and diets I follow to have a body like this and I want to laugh but I don't! I smile and say I follow a healthy diet and exercise. It's not a total lie--those are things I have to do to maintain my surgical results---but no matter what they do they'll never have a body like this! I actually like wearing bathing suits and pants now! My friend also had Smart Lipo with a different doctor and doesn't look nearly as good.
The Pros of the surgery are that you will look friggin' great! The cons are that you can't exercise for a while after surgery so you may get restless. Also you have to wear a compression garment on the operated body part, so if u live with roommates you have to change in the bathroom so they don't find out. My goal was to have skinny thighs that were proportional to my bony, narrow upper body. Before my surgery I looked like someone took the top half of one person and switched it at the waist with the bottom half of another! I wore a size XS top and a size XL bottom! I was constantly receiving offensive comments from women about my size and unwanted sexual advances from men who like "thick" women with curvy bottoms. I just wanted my lower half to be a normal size, and diet&exercise can only change your size, not your proportions.
