Pre-op Tomorrow, Surgery in 2 Weeks!!! Cary, NC

Hi RS ladies......I have boobies!!!!!!!! My BA was yesterday and recovery so far has been great! I arrived at the PS office 7.50am and was home by 11.30am. I got 325 on the left and 350 on the right. Dr Stoeckel and his team were amazing. Emily was my nurse and she was so wonderful, really put me at ease and was so caring, love her! So they told me once the surgery is over and I leave I should eat a substantial meal and get pain mess on board for when the local anesthetic wore off. I got a turkey bagel sandwich and ate the whole thing, no nausea in the car or after eating at home. Pretty much slept after that. No real pain as such, just felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. After my first nap I think I had laid down too long not walking and had left too long between pain meds so felt a bit weepy for no reason but was fine after more meds. I think they maybe cause highs and lows so hope to come off them soon - oxycodone. I expected to feel incoherent or out of it, but it wasn't like that at all for me. By late afternoon I was walking around much better and watching my boyfriend working in the garage :) He is staying and taking such good care of me, things like this you realize how many people care and what amazing people surround you. So I ate a dinner of risotto and avocado and bread roll then went to bed around 10.30pm propped up on 4 pillows around 45 degree angle. Wasn't sure what to expect in terms of sleeping well but I guess I got lucky! Slept until around 2.30am then woke and had my BF help me out of bed to the bathroom, took some pain mess then back to sleep until waking at 8.30am!! Again no real pain but boobies feel swollen and tight and actually my back aches more from the sleeping position lol. I usually sleep on my side. I found that in bed I couldn't raise myself to a sitting position and didnt really have any traction to move myself around on my butt. On the sofa though by the afternoon I could get up using my legs. Can't believe how well it has gone for me so far, I'm not usually the one who gets lucky lol! I have pics on my phone so will post those shortly! So far am so excited looking at my new shape, big reveal will be tomorrow when I can shower. Plus this morning was first time of dropping toast crumbs down my new cleavage :)
