Restylane Under the Eyes Does the Trick, with Nurse Triste at Winslow Facial Plastic Surgery, Carmel IN

Filler is a wonderful thing. It truly rejuvenates the face. Even though my facelift is excellent, the filler gives it that "umph" that makes me look even more refreshed and youthful. I even look good w/o makeup (second pic)!

Dang, I hate that I moved far from Indy and can no longer get filler with Nurse Triste. I retired to the countryside now and won't trust anyone else to do my filler. But if I ever want facial plastic surgery again then I will travel back to Dr. Winslow in Carmel, IN.

I happened upon this old pic that I had taken just prior to my facial rejuvenation with Dr. Winslow. If you go to my profile you can see reviews on each of the procedures that I had. For the purposes of this review, I wanted to point out the hollows under my eyes. So this was helped by the SMAS and the filler really makes a beautiful difference.

I had excess SMAS removed during my facelift and added to the hollows under my eyes in 2013. The preferred method by Dr. Winslow would have been for her to use excess fat from my abdomen. However, I'd had a body lift two months earlier and I did not have any excess fat for her to harvest. Imagine that, LOL.

Massive weight gain and loss had done a world of damage to my face. I looked like a St. Bernard! I'm not kidding. Just look at my profile page to read my reviews and see my many photos before and after. Dr. Winslow literally manifested a miracle. I do not say that lightly. Again,mc heck out my other reviews for the complete picture.

So as to maintain those wonderful results that Dr. Winslow was able to deliver, I of course eat and live very healthy. I also follow a skin care regimen prescribed by Dr. Winslow's practice. And from time to time I get filler and Botox with Nurse Triste, the only Allergan ACE Injector in the state.

Today we added a little Restylane under my eyes and to the marionette lines and nasal folds. It makes such a dramatic difference. It is amazing to go into the practice looking a little worn and come out 20-min later looking youthful.

I understand that filler under the eyes is an area of debate. Here are some of those concerns:
"Although retinal artery occlusion and blindness is very rare and unlikely (2 cases in the literature), visible lumps under the skin and downward migration of the filler is very common.

The eyelid skin is so thin that the filler is often visible as grey lumps.

More commonly, filler injections for under eye hollows, after 6 months are pushed downward by gravity and the action of the eyelid muscle, and the rim of filler is seen on the rim of the orbital bone beneath the dark eye hollow-this actually makes the hollow look worse."

I've been getting filler under the eyes for two years and have not had any problems whatsoever. My advice is to go to a board certified plastic surgeon's practice and have her ACE certified Injector review your case... If you are able to travel to Indianapolis then absolutely go to Nurse Triste.

I am thrilled with my results from Dr. Winslow and so so glad that Nurse Triste is able to maintain those results. I really enjoy looking and feeling young and vital at 51 years old!!!
