Burns and hypo pigmentation is completely resolved!!

It's now been 12 months since the LHR burns to my lower legs. It took a full year, but my pigmentation came back and fully recovered! You would never know what happened by looking at them now. I am SO relieved and feel incredibly lucky to have a full recovery. :-)

7 months later...

My hypo pigmented spots are definitely improving. I uploaded some pics from today. I do not have a tan or spray tan in these pics, but I've gone to a tanning bed 6 times for 8 minutes each session over the last couple months. I'm not sure if that has helped or it's just the time that's helping, but I'm thankful for the improvement. I also tried spray tanning about a month ago and that worked really well!! So at least I have that option to use during the spring and summer. :-)

5 months update

I'm now 5 months post LHR. The hypopigmentation remains. It's less noticeable, but from a few feet away it is still visible enough that I won't bare my lower legs if they stay this way. I've consulted with Shidler Dermatology in Carmel, IN for advice. They are going to try "light box" therapy on me in a few weeks. It's a controlled, specific UV exposure intended to encourage melanocyte migration into the hypopigmented areas. It's worth a try! In fact, it's my last hope.
