Quality Dental Care - Mexico

When I arrived at ocean dental. I was prepared for a fairly large bill. To my suprise, they advised me that I need much less dental work done than the money hungry dentists in Orlando, Florida, told me I needed. As I stated in my original review, the dentists at Ocean Dental advised me that the only work I required was the 3 unit bridge.
Since I was already in Mexico, I asked for additional cosmetic dental work. The amount I paid was 1/3 of the cost of what they were charging in Orlando. This price even included the cost of the air fare and Hotel and meals. I am so pleased with the dental work and Dentists and staff, that, should I need additional dental work in the future, I would not hesitate to fly back down to cancun. Once again, a side note. The office equipment was much more modern than any of the dentist I visited, in Orlando, Florida, save one. That was the dentist that gave me he highest estimate. I was relaxed in the dental chair, watching TV on the overhead screen, while the doctors worked on me, that is when I was not mesmerized and focused the the beautiful dentist and her assistant.

After sustaining a broken crown when I accidentally bit down on a rib steak bone. I visited local dentists. I visited 3 different dental offices where I live, in Orlando, Florida.each dentists quoted me different prices from $3,600.00 for just one 3 unit bridge, too $9,000.00 for a bridge with 4 unit bridge, this dr said I had a fractured tooth where the bridge was to be attached and a root canal. He also wanted to replace two other teeth with implants. I researched ocean dental and I felt this office with ADA LICENSED DENTISTS, WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE MY DENTAL WORK DONE. As it turned out I received a root canal, 3 unit zirconia bridge, while I was there I opted to replace 4 crowns on the 4 bottom front teeth. I required a post to hold a crown in place. They assisted me in securing a 4 star hotel for 5 nights 6days (Real Inn on the hotel zone). Between the flight from Orlando, Florida and the hotel stay it ran $369, for both. Please bear in mind this was May, which was not tourist season in cancun. They provided me with airport transfers and pick up and drop off at my hotel for each day I needed to go to the dental office for free,
On my arrival I was underwent an exam, after which, we discussed my treatment. I was advised that all I needed was a 3 unit bridge and a root canal with a post. I requested an estimate for the bridge and 4, 35 year old crowns that looked worn and had metal showing where the porcelain had worn off. All of the Drs, were wonderful caring and extremely competent. On a side note they were beautiful as well, at least the females. The office manager, Martin, was equally competent, all were fluent in English. After 4 days of dental work, all of the work was completed, which allowed some recuperation and the pool, beach and sight seeing. I was quoted $3,306.00, for all the work, I stated that's a 3 unit bridge, 4 crowns none of which was covering metal, which not like the old ones that were worn and had the metal exposed. They also whitened my teeth and matched the new crowns to 65 year old stained free teeth. I highly recommend ocean dental, cancun, Mexico. Should I require more cosmetic dental work, I would not hesitate retuning to ocean dental. In fact, based on my recommendation a friend also had dental work done there and I will be returning with my wife, who after 55 years wanted cosmetic dental work and my granddaughter for Invisalign braces. They did not recommend regular metal braces because most dentists in the U.S. refuse to adjust braces that they have not installed. With the Invisalign braces. You receive the entire package of "trays" when you leave. Once the trays need to be replaced after the teeth begin to align you just replace it with the next adjustment tray. In the end I saved $5k including the cost of the flight and hotel. I highly recommend Ocean Dental, Cancun.
