“Large Concave Area on Stomach After Tummy Tuck with Abdominal Plication and Upper Abdominal Lipo”

I underwent a TT with abdominal plication and upper abdominal lipo, almost 4 weeks ago. I am recovering well, however am extremely concerned about an area that is hollowed out under my belly button. I asked my PS about it, and he said that it may reduce with time (or may require lipo around the area at a later date to recontour).

Pros: tummy is truly flat, looks good with clothes on

Negative: long recovery period, struggling with unmet expections

The reason that I had procedure was that I was unsatisfied with a large tummy bulge after several c-sections.

It is a large area, and I was hoping that the surgeons would be able to answer a few questions: 1. Have you ever seen this problem of concavity before? 2. How have those patients fared? 3. What is the cause of the concavity? 4. What would you recommend in terms of tratment to inprove the aesthetics? Thank you very much.
