I did this because I am an active, thin person with persistent belly bulge. The pros I am hoping to get are a flatter, smoother, tighter stomach. The cons are the pain, downtime, and expense. Hopefully it'll all be worth it!

Hello, I had lipo on my stomach, sides, and mons area 1 week ago. The first couple days it looked great with minimal swelling and bruising. Now at one week the bruising and swelling has gotten worse. I have been wearing my CG full time. I'm just discouraged because now it looks the same size as it was before with dimpling and more and more bruising everyday. Hopefully it will at least go back to how it looked right after the surgery.?

I have the same porblem. Are you better now? My mons is swelling beyond belief and my lapia is blue. How that happened no idea. Had procedure monday 5/17 & today is thursday and still looked bad.

I'm better now. Although I have a permanent indentation in the mons area where the lipo was done. I don't really mind, it seems to look better overall with clothes on. For a couple weeks after my surgery I had bruising on my labia area but it's gone now. Good luck

After ab & back smart lipo, I also had swollen, black & blue mons and labia which lasted about a week and fully subsided about 2 weeks later. (Lipo was not done in the pubic area, yet that is where the blood pooled as well as the top of my thighs, which looked like serious hematomas.) I resumed sexual activities about 2 weeks post op, (thought I was "in the mood" one day, so we tried it,) but have not recovered all the feeling in that area yet (am 4 weeks post op now). I haven't seen the topic of sex on this lipo site, so I'm mentioning it here briefly, as a reply to this topic above. I'm wondering about others and their experiences?
