“Tummy Tuck in April 2011 (End of April) - Long Beach, CA”

Hello Ladies, glad to find this site. So many things going through my head before the big day. April 15, (kids on springbreak)is the day for me. I waited 19 years for this. I have 19 yr old girl and 9 yr old boy. Lets just say when your younger, skin much easier to tighten back by exercise, but as you get older it's get harder and its not the same. I have few concerns maybe you ladies can answer for me. 5 years ago, i injured my back working at docks(port of lb) and things was never the same after that, if you had back pain before then you know how i feel. I exercise 4x a day and i do a lot of core exercise but that flab is just never going away. So yes im ready for nice nip and tuck.

I wanted to know how much time off would i need? i do work in the office, sit and computer all day long. and also how did your back handled the tummy tuck? Doc said this will help my back problems since they will tighten up the muscle. And last thing, do i really need a lipo on my hips, 5'2 130lbs. im working on loosing 10 pounds so maybe wont need the lipo. I really need a quick recovery since i do need to go back to work. I have 30 days vacation but dont want to use them all.

Hello Ladies, i am 3 more weeks to go before my big day, im so excited, been exercising everyday so more skin to cut off. eww.. good news, doctor putting me for a month off,so much relief. Ladies, if you can give me thrun down again, on what not to do or take before surgery. I cant wait.

Hello Again, i am 9 days away, 15th @7:00 am is the bid day. Any advice ladies bring it on. Im so excited,nervous, what if, all at the same time. I have awesome daughter who will take care of me for few days, im so proud of my baby girl. I been so good to my body for the last 3 weeks, working out hard, and eating healthy. I just cant picture not be able to work out for 6 weeks,its all good. iam more than ready. thanks ladies, you guys are awesome.

I made it ladies, yes the first 2 days are extreme pain, pretty much sat on my ass, cant lie or side. didnt have a reclining chair , so had bunch of pillows on my back. the most painful is muscle repair, every move you make it you use your core, so it was hard not to use it.this is my 4days post op, im walking straight, although i develop a sore throat that is killing me, got some cough medicine,just need that mucous to come out, its not an infection, its from surgery when stuck a tube in your throat. Overall that bad at all. Just first few days, you need help to get you up, especialy bathroom, and its feels good to walk around. swollen big time, especially the lipo area, ice it up every 20 mints helps a lot. i go to my follow up tomw, tubes should be remove, I still havent seen my belly, im afraid to look. definetly tomorrow i bring a camera in doctor office. Oh yah, tak your stool softner the night before surgery. thanks ladies
