“Day 1 - Burlington, ON”
Spent: $7,000 in Burlington Ontario
Posted 26 Jul 2011
Well after waiting for 3 months I got my 1st trays today. The buttons are a bit of a disappointment and I lost 2 right away and have to go back tomorrow to get them put on again. I should not have told them and just gone without, but if I'm going to do it I guess i Will do it right. sigh
Does anyone have advice on how to deal with sharp edges on a couple of spots on the tray? I already have sores in a couple of spots from them.

Glad you decided to tough it out & get the buttons put back on. Most people seem to say that the first week is the worst, then it gets better from there.
Please let us know how you are doing once all the buttons are on.
As for the sharp edges the best solution I have found is get a good nail file!
Yeah, the tray edges can be quite the irritant from what many people say. There is an interesting forum open where the community member questioned why the Invisalign company doesn't smooth the edges. You can click here if you would like to join in the conversation.
