I had the surgery April 1st in Burbank, CA.

I used local, that HURT. Lidocane injected to numb with a drug cocktail to calm me. Surgery was about an hour. Pain was minimal, second- fourth day swelling was like looking at to tiny balloon animals on my eyelids. I'll include pics of the results and days.

I'm 53 and have had droopy eyelids my whole life, always wanted to do this. It's getting better every day. My eyelids are still a bit numb and did loose a few more eyelashes then normal. I used the frozen peas for swelling on days 2- 3, I used corn niblets cause I'm gonna eat em after for dinner. Slept upright for 2 days then gave up after 2 sleepless nights, I rather swell a bit than not sleep. I covered the eyes for a few days when sleeping with a gauze bandage, just in case I might try to scratch in my sleep.

Day 15 and the left eye is almost perfect, right eye has a bit of scarring , lumpiness in the corner, but it should go away in a while. VERY happy I did this.

The scars are calming down are not visible with open eyes, you can see them when my eyes are closed. Eyelids are still numbish. Still happy. Eyelashes getting full and longer with Latisse.

I finally took some new pics. Still Happy, still have numb eyelids but not as numb. the scar on the right eye has a few issues, but I'm going to go another month and see how it settles. Love seeing my eyelids and wearing eye shadow. Most people at work have forgotten I did it even though I showed up at work for a week with gauze and freaky eyes. I've been using the scar silicone stuff you cut for the bumpy parts of the scars. every other night or so while sleeping. My inner corners went thru about 3 days of intense itching, not sure if it was the healing or allergies.

I will add pics, but the numbness went away at 4 months. When eyes are open, you can't see tell I had anything done, with a 10x mirror when I close my eyes I still see the faint lines. My friend who had hers done 3 years ago, has no scaring. Still worth it. doing a bit of CO2 for lines in Nov. will post pics.
