No Regrets! Conservative Laser Lipo of Chin, Stomach and Arms for Localised Fat Deposits - Budapest, Hungary

Some time ago (feels like ages!) I had "smart" or laser lipo...at the time I was 23 (no kids). I was at the right weight (115lbs) and just had extremely localised small fat deposits - so a perfect lipo candidate! I had 3 small areas treated - a 3"x5" area of the stomach, under the chin, and the upper arms which in added up to a total of 1200ml fat removed

I was nervous about doing it abroad, but the clinic was very organised and Joanna, the patient co-ordinator, is lovely. Dr Vincent is friendly and approachable. He listened to what I wanted and made some aesthetic suggestions but did not push his opinion or any additional procedures (which is a contrast to some surgeons who have a 'my way or the highway' attitude). Surgery was done under general aesthetic and I stayed 1 night in the hospital and a further 2 (or 3) nights in a hotel before returning home. I was in quite a lot of pain for the first week after the surgery but after 2 weeks it had settled well

My results
- stomach. Very smooth, 2 years later still looks great. Small bit of asymmetry on one hip but only noticeable to me. Surgeon was not at all conservative in how much he took out (a good thing, IMO) and I could still feel some muscle pain up to 2-3 months after the procedure and planking in the gym was out of the question! Bruising was minimal, on the hips only, and my skin was super tight thanks to the laser. Scars tiny and unnoticeable. I did struggle with the compression garment in that it did not fit at all, because I have a very narrow waist but large bum and hips. When I got home I ordered my own one, with boning, that I had resized to fit and it was much more comfortable

- Upper arms. This was the least successful area. Tons of bruising. Some visible asymmetry & not much noticeable fat reduction in the target area (which was the wing part)

- Chin. Outstanding result! All the fat removed and it looked totally natural. 2 years later, it looks great. Again, no noticeable scars - only a tiny one under the chin. I did experience some nerve damage that gave me a crooked smile for some time, and my mouth would "freeze" on one side when laughing and I sometimes had difficultly talking. This is a known and relatively common side effect and it did resolve in 3 months. Could have been nerve damage, or just swelling pressing on the nerve. At the time it was very worrying and I was pretty stressed about it, but it healed up just fine with no lasting issues at all.
If you are genetically predisposed to carry fat under your chin (which I am, I had a fat chin even when I was just 98 lbs), then I cannot recommend this procedure enough!
Glad everything went well for u. U r a brave girl to have all that done at once. Thx for posting.

It was 3 areas but they were small and not much volume was taken out (1200ml) ...think that makes it easier :) Although I do think a more aggressive removal makes a harder recovery - a friend of mine had inner thighs and upper and lower abdomen and her recovery was much easier than mine, but, she had to go back to get more removed. I was thinner than her so the cannula/laser must have had to go closer to the stomach muscle

I had upper and lower abdomen and flanks. They removed a little less than 2000ml. My left flank is slightly larger than the right. Not much and I think I might have coolsculpting on it. Do u have pictures?
