Ohhhh the PAIN :-(

Days 2&3 : short itchy spurts. Various areas. Little discomfort. No pain. 3 on scale of 1-10.

Days 4&5 : VERY intense spurts of sharp stabbing pains all over (pins & needles) Every 5-10 minutes lasting 1-3 minutes at a time. ES TYLENOL did not work. Little - no sleep. Lots of discomfort and some pain. Very sensitive around the belly button area. 8-9 on a scale of 1-10

Day 6 : BURNING... Sharp, shooting pains have subsided. Tingly, burning sensation on lower abdomen area. ICE pack helps a lot, but is very temporary (only about 20-30 minutes of relief)... The heat sensation intensifies as time goes on. Swelling is down by about 75%... Treated area feels tight like after an intense ab workout. 7-8 on a scale of 1-10.

After dedicating 6 months to losing weight, eating better, and getting in shape, I realized everything on my body was improving greatly except for my stomach area. I decided to go with coolsculpting after extensive research and comparisons on results. Much of the deciding factor was the ability to remain awake, and the idea of very little downtown.

I went in for a free consultation and learned that I was the perfect candidate for it, as I had enough squeezable fat to indicate i would very likely get great suction from the applicators, and ultimately amazing results.

On May 7th, I went in to have 4 areas treated with 1 treatment each. I received treatment on both sides of my upper and lower abdomen. The specialist began with my lower left abdomen. On my LLA there was very little discomfort. I could feel the pressure of the suction, but I did not feel the area go numb. Upon removal it looked like a big red stick of better (as previous results have stated). The massage process was slightly uncomfortable, I could feel my skin warming up and the area beginning to tingle. My LRA was pretty much the same... Little discomfort, little pain. We then continued on with my Upper Right abdomen....this is where discomfort began to set in.. My guess is because I had less fat in my upper abdomen area. The suction was more intense (although the settings were the same) and upon removal of the suction, the area was very sore, and the massage was slightly painful. The same went for my ULA.

Post procedure as my entire abdomen began to thaw I could feel a slight tingle from my skin heating back up, but nothing unbearable. The specialist advised that I wear a compression garment such as a SPANX or waist trainer everyday for the first week to aid in swelling reduction , and lessen the discomfort I may feel as my stomach continued to thaw.

So far there have been 2 things really keeping the discomfort level down... 1. I took a warm shower . 2. I use saran wrap around my stomach area (lightly wrapped, NOT TIGHT as if waist training) to serve as a barrier between the sensitive, tender skin and the actual hook closures on the waist trainer.
