i have been a wife and mother for all these years and now i am doing something for me.Since i was a teenager i had been obese and never felt attractive but in the last 5 years i have lost nearly 70 lbs but am still left with an ugly apron of fatty skin that hangs .
I am booked into a hospital in Brussels to have a TT and muscle tightening on 14th Feb.-my Valentines present to me!
I am feeling SO excited .Finally i will be able to wear pretty undies instead of hold-me-in-ers and all those clothes i was only able to look longingly at before.
Any tips as to what i might need afterward would be great.

Forgot to say i am 5ft 6 and a half inches tall (that half inch is important!haha) and weigh 168 lbs.All my excess weight is in the middle and i`ve never had a waist .What i call a real "BRICK "shape...and i want to be a WOMAN shape.

I AM NOW 11 DAYS POST OP AND FEEL REALLY GOOD.i only had 1 drain which was removed the next morning.I was able to walk upright the next morning and from the 2nd day have only needed tylenol for discomfort.I feel really lucky after reading some of the other lady`s posts.
Today i had 73 staples and 7 sutures removed!!!!!
tummy button a bit yucky but was told it was ok.
will try and take some pic.s today and put up later.

Just looked again at my "after" picture and cant...

just looked again at my "after" picture and cant believe how much the swelling has gone down since that picture.also reminded me how awful it
was before.

i have 2 dog ears and a muffin top after my surgery which i am returning to Belgium the end of June to have fixed .I was warned this might happen due to all the fat removed from the front!!
have been feeling quite miserable about it especially when i see how great a lot of people look after their surgeries.

i have been SO excited waitng to have this surgery until this morning and suddenly i am thinking negative things-i had to go and look at my naked self in the mirror to get positive again.haha
