I Can't Believe I'm Having Liposuction. Brooklyn, NY

Thought I'd write a short blog to let every me know how I'm doing seven days post op. Soo after the initial procedure my stomach area is feeling very sore and uncomfortable. The discomfort is more felt on the inside, sometimes when u walk, sit or bend. It feels like some one has burned the insides of my stomach with something hot. It's more uncomfortable than painful but enough to make me think when will the healing process be over, how much longer must I tolerate this uncomfortableness. It feels to me like I've been waddling around like a pregnant woman holding sides when I go to sit down and rubbing my aching belly when I walk. I have my post op follow up tomorrow, I could make it sooner as I had come down with a cold. My belly looks the same size it did last week. I'm wondering if the results will meet my expectations.

So it's the second day after my operation and I'm feeling well. I have been doing a lot of walking and moving around and can say I only feel pain/discomfort when I bend, sit or climb stairs. My wounds are very small and had stopped leaking after the first day. I had a build up of fluids around my lower abdom and private area, but that has gone down significantly now. I have brought a new compression garment, which offers more compression. I find the garments help with the discomfort. I am not hugely swollen and have minor bruising. So far so good. :-)
