Nipple size

Forgot to mention one nipple is bigger than the other - here's hoping they even out over time?!

Steristrips are off

I have taken the strips off a couple of days earlier than my PS advised as they were starting to really irritate my skin. I have seriously swollen and sore nipples which have gotten worse over past couple of days, you can push them in and feel the fluid (I think anyway,) I hope this is normal, I'm about to email my PS about it and I'm flying back to Brisbane in a few weeks so will see him for a post-op appointment then. I'm really missing exercise and starting to feel quite run down but I am too scared at the moment of causing my boobs unnecessary movement to do anything, walking really hurts my nipples after about half an hour. My right breast is having a harder time at healing than my left but otherwise I think everything is going okay.

Post op 6 days - bandage taken off today

I had my post-op check up today and viewed my new boobies for the first time, everything is going well and I am healing nicely. I am quite bruised at the bottom of each breast and I noticed that I don't have much to any sensation in either nipple, I hope that improves over time. I am still quite bloated it seems to come and go so I am wondering if it is fluid in my body. I am moving country tomorrow so will be keeping in touch with my surgeon via email and photos. I have to take my steri-strips off on Friday and replace every day for a week, and start massaging the sides and tops of each breast to help them soften. I don't have much swelling apparently so this will hopefully be the size I will end up with, I hope that is the case as I love this size and think they are perfect, they are sitting high and need to settle over the next couple of months. I can start rubbing bio-oil into the scars in a week or so. Overall I am very pleased with the result, loved trying on the dress I bought pre-surgery to see how well I filled it :)

Hi all Thought I'd share my story as I found this website very useful leading up to my surgery. I'm 30, 5ft 2", 60kgs (136lbs I think), I had a lollipop lift and 340cc round silicone implants placed under the muscle. I was a C cup with borderline sagging, I did not realise I needed a lift until I had a consult for augmentation and got a second opinion which confirmed I was borderline for a lift. I get very bad PMS and often my breasts will swell to at least double their normal size each month, so I wonder if this contributed to the sagging over the years, as I do not have children. Very happy with the surgeon I choose, I felt I could have been provided with more pre and post operative information though. I had my operation at 1.30pm yesterday and was home by 4pm, I felt rushed out by the day hospital which I wasn't that happy about, I was still completely doped and unable to walk unaided. The surgeon's office also gave me the wrong quote for the day hospital it was $800 more than they quoted which I only found out on the day when paying. I have oddly felt no pain or discomfort yet. Another lady in recovery at the same time as me was in a lot of pain, unable to move and was very surprised at my lack of discomfort or pain. I'm wondering if I have that to come, I hope not! I have been walking around as much as possible but trying not to use my arms or lift anything. My new ladies have swollen over night and I'm starting to bloat in my tummy, just jumped on the scales and I'm now 64kgs. I've ordered the boyfriend down to the chemist to get me some laxatives and prune juice as I just know the codeine I have been taking will make me constipated. I have my post operative appointment on Monday morning and it will be the first time I'll see my new boobs as I am bandaged at the moment and not allowed to take the bandage off until then. Will post pics once the bandage is off.
