WORTH IT
well, it's been nearly just over 6 months now and the girls look really good... I saw the PS today and she was quite happy with the way things look...the scars are fading already ...she was impressed by this as I do have fair skin and she thought they wouldn't fade that easily. She did say it would take 1- 2 yrs before it would be barely noticeable which I already knew firsthand from talking to a friend who had the procedure done a couple of years ago.

I will have to go back to have the "dog ears" fixed... and one spot on the inside area of the right breast as it just didn't settled the way the other one did... I will get around to posting a pic in the near future so that there is a visual for comparison.

I have had those "tingling" sensations periodically which she said it quite normal due to the tissue settling in and adjusting to the "breathing" space...lol!

I'm happy and keep getting feedback from friends who knew the "old girls" as they were...and one friend still cannot get over what a difference...she still maintains I look like I lost 50lbs! and I'm NOT gonna say no to that! lol

I didn't choose this provider...my doctor referred me to her. As it turns out though, a friend of mine had a BR done last year and Dr Boyd was the doc who did the work on her, and my friend was very pleased with the results. The secretary at Dr Boyds office told me also, that one of their patients oncologist said it was one of the best works he had seen...so this gave me a good feeling to know I was in good hands.

slow to getting stuff posted...but the pics I just posted are most recent. all the tape is now off and things are looking pretty good. the reddish areas dont seem to want to go away ... I am using a polysporin with medicated cream... hopefully that is helping the healing too.

I want to know how long people are wearing their bras full time for... i.e.: how many weeks.

It is amazing to look at the pictures with the dresses and see the difference! Congrats :-)

I think I was wearing a bra around the clock (but not necessarily a restrictive one) for the first 5 months or so. I wore a good supportive one during the day and a more comfy stretchy one during the day.

well, I know I MUST be getting better because I have actually been sleeping on my sides! well, the right more than the left...for some reason my left is a lot more sensitive. Oh well...atleast the side sleeping is slowly coming back! :) I bought 2 new real bras...but no underwires in them. 42C... wooot! :) though I STILL feel as though they are almost too small ...but its ok. better that than have to live with the other side of that.

Posting pics too. Tape has slowly been coming off and you can now see what the areolla area is looking like...on my right breast atleast.
