I have lost 100 pounds in the last year. After having two beautiful babies and nursing both of them for a year each my breasts are sad sacks of skin! Or Triple S as I like to call them. Anyways, surgery is scheduled for March 6th and I can't wait. I am having a key-hole breast lift and breast implant. I am 5'5, 132-136 pounds. I am VERY active and work out daily. I am excited but also nervous to take off so long from working out. So welcome to my journey. I hope my story resonates with others and that my pre and post operative posts will help me and others!!!

I wanted to add that I am also having a tummy tuck, and flank liposuction. I am trying to decide what size implants I want. I weigh 134 pounds but people keep saying I'm "petite" and "very thin" and not to go too big for my body. I was thinking about doing about 374-400. Too big? My husband doesn't want them to look too big/fake. And really, neither do I. I will post a couple pics of what I do want. Hoping I can get as close as possible to that.

So today is preop appointment! Getting excited and nervous!! Can't wait to try on sizers and decide on an actual implant size instead of guessing what I think might look good on me. 1 hour!! Then... two weeks from today until surgery!!!

So last Wednesday I had my pre-op appointment. My Dr. explained to me that with the lift I can't go bigger than 350cc implants. I was thinking of going up to 400 cc so this was a bit shocking, I guess I'll just have to deal with a smaller size! Has anybody else been told this? He said it was because they don't want the implant to be too big and pull on my new nipple and have the nipple die. Anyways, 6 days until my surgery. I am soooo excited!! I am trying to get everything done! I am dumb and I decided to plan my son's 3rd birthday party just 4 days before surgery. And I also scheduled a minor procedure (no recovery time) for my son the day before my surgery!! UGH! At least I won't be bored sitting at home counting down the minutes. If it weren't for one of my kids napping right now I would be at Target getting some last minute essentials. My husband also has to get his "Honey do..." list done this weekend. Put the toilet riser on our toilet, run cable to our bedroom, I feel like the planning never ends! But couldn't be more happy and excited. So yeah, I'm 5'5 about 130 lbs. And he thinks the MAX they can get into me is 350 cc. Is that too small?? Hmmmm... also, I am scheduled to get my period like the day before my surgery. Great :(

So tomorrow is surgery day and I can't wait. Luckily I have a crazy busy and hectic day today so before I know it, it will be night time. Good luck to all of my surgery twins and I'll see you on the flat tummy, perky booby side!!

Day of treatment
We leave for surgery in less than 1 hour and I'm psyched!! All clean and shaven... eeek (I feel like a 10 year old girl). See you all on the flat side/perky side!! Hope I can update a little in the next day or two.
I made it. Update more later.

So I had my surgery yesterday. We arrived at the surgery center and from the second we walked in I felt VERY well taken care of and the staff was incredible. I have allergies to most pain meds and the anesthesiologist spent a ton of time talking about anti-nauseou meds (Zofran) that he uses during surgery to prevent the sick feeling after. First time I've had general and not gotten SUPER sick afterwards. Then went into the OR and they gave me something to calm me down and before I knew it I was waking up in recovery. I actually feel really good. I am getting stiffer but the pain is minimal. And I don't even have a pain pump. My husband has been great and my in-laws are helping with my kids. I sat in my recliner all day. Several things I am SOOOO glad I had in advance: toilet riser, recliner, and button up shirt dress pajamas, and my laptop next to me to help speed up the hours. They went with 375 cc mentor moderate profile plus. I am ecstatic with the size. Not too big, not too small. Anyways, feeling sleepy now, heading to bed.

I really think my lack of pain has been due to being so physically fit before the surgery. I worked out 6-7 days a week for the last 9 months. So being able to use my legs as much as possible to get up and down has helped.
I think the reason I feel so good is because of...
I think the reason I feel so good is because of the fact that I wanted this so bad and I also started out so physically fit. The recliner and toilet riser have been a god send! And I still can't believe I went through with all of this. Very surreal. I'm 27 years old and had a TT and breast lift/aug. Crazy!
On another note, my Mom flew in today to help with the house, and my kids. She has been saying to me for the last few months that I don'e need the surgery and that I was just over exaggerating how bad I looked. Well, when we were at the Dr's office they showed her my before's and she said "Oh wow Bailey, you really needed this, I'm sorry I doubted you"! Which was pretty huge!

So the worst part of recovery happened today. I finally pooped. My husband installed a toilet riser with handles and I know it's TMI but I was definatly white knuckling it for about 30 minutes. It took 3 doses of milk of magnesia, 1 laxative pill, and 2 cups of coffee. So glad the "plug" is gone. Hope that's the worst pain I'll have b/c man did it suck. But other than that still feeling pretty good. My back is sore from laying down, but trying to get up every hour or two and go outside (it's 75 here) but not physically do anything besides moving around. PS Did I mention I love my boobs!!!!!! My Dr is so impressed with my thin low scar and perfectly petite areolas (I've always had cup saucers for areolas). Hope my posts can encourage and give future MM mommy's lots of help and know that it is ALL how you approach the situation! So think positive and enjoy!! Still taking 1/2 a nucynta (a gentle pain pill that tends to give less constipation and nausea) every 4-6 hours and valium for the back pain from laying down for so long. Good luck to the future MM's!

So I had a bout of nausea today and I had to have my husband give me a composine suppository (awkward). Def. one of the hardest parts of the recovery thus far. I don't think I ate enough calories, just oatmeal for breakfast and a little bit of toast with peanut butter for lunch. So I guess I should be eating a little bit more, even though I'm nervous about gaining weight. I guess I have to put that on the back burner and just eat what I need to feel okay. I also was able to take a full length standing picture. VERY SWOLLEN but better already!
I guess today is day 5? Surgery was Wednesday,...
I guess today is day 5? Surgery was Wednesday, today is Sunday... so day 4.5?? Anyways feeling pretty good. Off pain pills and valium because I didn't like how it made me feel. Not doing too much still. I don't want to risk doing too much. My mom is bringing the kids to the YMCA I belong to b/c they can go to the childcare for 2 hours while she reads or relaxes. Not planning on going to a restaurant/store/ running errands for at least one week. I really want to let my body heal. I don't want to rush things. Some people do too much and then get seromas, etc, I CAN'T risk that. In a bit of swell hell and can't stand up straight at all, but other than that LOVE the size of my boobs and am so lucky the PS was able to fit 375cc implants in their!!
So this last Wednesday was 8 weeks post op. And I...
So this last Wednesday was 8 weeks post op. And I can't believe how fast time has flown. I am feeling incredible. I guess I should mention that I'm back at the gym. Two days ago I did kickboxing for the first time in 9 weeks then personal training where I focused on legs and plyometrics. Then yesterday I did hour and a half of spin! Feels great to be back. I do definitely get swollen on days like that but it's worth it for me. I feel incredible! About to go to the pool in a bikini for the first time ever!! I'll add a pic. Staying perfectly on my ideal weight. 130. I also went on a date with my husband Friday night and wore a halter top with no bra!!!! That's huge. Have a great weekend all.
Girl's Weekend! Feeling Amazing!
I had a girl's weekend this last weekend and it was amazing to not feel self conscience the whole time. Adding a before weight loss and after surgery photo from this weekend. It felt so good to feel sexy again!!
