It's not cheap, there's some uncomfortable recovery, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I can't wait to buy new pants!
I am nearly 52 years old have been getting thicker in the middle with age and my upper thighs have always been larger. I guess you could call me a classic pear shape. I had flanks, thighs and knees done. Recovery wasn't extremely painful. I was provided pain medication but I didn't take any.
One of the reasons I chose Smart Lipo is because I have not liked general anesthesia or pain meds in the past when I've had surgeries for necessary medical reasons. There was soreness and bruising. I was uncomfortable but it was tolerable. I think you need to be patient. It's a "wet" recovery as after the procedure you drain and need to change your bandages frequently. I used kotex pads. I did not enjoy wearing the compression garment but it's worth the results and it does help hold on your bandages the first few days. Again, it was all worth the great results!
I could notice a slight difference almost immediately, in about 2 days. After about a month, all my pants were baggy and I'm much narrower in my trunk area. I've lost weight before but never got this shape from diet and exercise and I'm a gym freak!
This is a great place. I recommend you check them out! Do your research before choosing a doctor. I had visited a few. The doc I chose had the most experience and I was very comfortable at their office. The staff is very warm, down to earth and friendly. It just felt like the right place!
