Botox over Eyelids and on Frown Lines - I Will Never Do This Again

I had upper & lower blepharoplasties two years ago and wanted to get Botox over one eyelid as well as in my frown lines - I went to the partner of my surgeon who is board certified - at first, I was very pleased with my results, however, after 8 days, my left eyelid began to droop and my right upper lid became puffy - I look like I have had a stroke. I contacted the doctor who advised me that my symptoms were rare but possible, and that they would go away when the Botox did. I am hoping this is true.

I think my results were a side effect that just happened to me. My doctor is well respected in his field. He was very kind to me and offered his personal phone number if I needed to see him or had questions.

I hope for you too. I have had a similar outcome. It has now been 10 months and the effects have not worn off. I've been told that things can take upto a year to come right, even more. I sincerely hope this is the case. Take care. Keep us informed of your progress.
