Hi everyone! I am a Mommy of 4 youngest just turned 1 and finally decided to go in for a full TT. I had my breasts done in 2003 and loved the results so I am excited for the final results from this as well. Had a full TT on May 24th and had an overall great experience. This is day 16 and I am still very swollen. At the incision sight (Where the drain tubes were) on both sides is super puffy and I wondered if anyone else had this problem. It looks like I have "back fat!" Also...I am still sore and heading back to work in a few days. Thank goodness it's a desk job. How long was pain meds needed?

Anyway...will post more later and hope to get pics up soon. Any advice is so appreciated!

Congratulations on ur T.T. I took my pains meds for about 1week every six hours even if I didn't need them, just because I didn't want to be in pain. I didn't feel no pain pnly to get up but it was not so bad :] Good luck and Happy Healing

Hello, I am 8 days post op. I had my drain tubes removed on day 5 (this past monday) and the incisions are already closed. They are not red or puffy. Maybe to be on the safe side you should see your PS just to make sure there is no infection. I went today to My PS because I had some redness around my incision, My dr said my skin in just irritated from the binder, he put some cream on it and said to let it air out for a few hours tonight (take binder off). Good luck with your healing :-)

Ahhh. So you're surviving life with a 1-y/o? I'm planning my TT w/ "bra fat" lipo on July 8. My youngest will be 17 mos. Can you give me some "coping" strategies other than having LOTS of help? What about wearing clothes w/buttons? How does swelling appearance, etc. differ from your pre-tt appearance? I know that sounds kind of dumb to ask, but I'm trying to figure out what to wear after my surgery. . . and about how long I'll have to wear different things. . . Can't wait to see pics!!

How is your progress coming post surgery? I hope you’re doing well. I am scheduled for a TT and hernia repair at St. Al’s next mo. Can you tell me if $7900. was your total bill and did you have it done in the hospital or a surgery center? I am having a hard time getting a cost out of the hospital. It’s very frustrating. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
