Not a House of Medicine; Definitely a House of Commerce! - Boca Raton, FL

I'm a healthy early sixties male with a very active lifestyle. I had/still have some lower abdominal belly fat and love handles. I went to Dr Posner for tumescent liposuction. I have several friends who have had this from different Docs, with good results. Posner immediately said that he had something better...Cool Sculpting or "Zeltiq". I was hesitant since tum lipo has been around a long time and I've seen it work. But no, Posner said that Zeltiq was the latest and greatest thing and that it would work for me. He was a very slick salesman. He even went so far as to say that once he was finished with me, that he would have no trouble fixing up a blond, blue-eyed, muscular gentile (yes, he used that word) with "lots of nice girls in Boca". Well, I didn't go to him for dating advice, but he also said that since Zeltiq was very new, if it didn't work, he'd re-do it at no charge. So, OK. Procedure was December 2012. By 7 week follow-up in February, no change. By 13 week follow-up still no change. Took photos, compared with initial, no change. He came into exam room, hadn't even looked at new photos. He said "Boca women will love you anyway" Very insulting and degrading comment, particularly since he already had my $2650. I asked him about a re-do as he was trotting out the door, he said that "one of my girls will call". None ever did. During the next week there were several back-and-forth calls, finally with an offer to re-do for $1785. I declined. Well, after several months of waiting, follow-ups with no changes, and some pressure applied by me, he finally scheduled the re-do for June 2013. On the re-do day, he didn't show up. The nice nurse did the procedure as described. As of now, there has been no change. I'm 6', 210. I eat 1800-2000 calories a day and work out hard 5 days a week. I have a 48" chest and 15" upper arms. My legs are tight and muscular. I do cardio. Don't tell me that I'm unfit...I just have this stubborn midsection fat, part of being over 60. I wanted it gone, but I'm sure as heck not going back to Posner. God only knows what he would do to me if I were unconscious. I feel ripped off and used. Maybe it's because I'm a "gentile". Really?
