Day 3

Ok slept better last night. I'm actually sleeping sitting halfway upward. This surgical bra is very irritating. I did have to take a Tylenol. The incisions feel really tight. Which is good for the healing process. I had to keep putting ice on about every hour or so. I did go back to work yesterday and today. I didn't do much. Just a bit of walking around and a bit of writing. Since I wrote with my right hand most of the time, I've been using my left hand for everything else, brushing my teeth, etc.

I was able to take a shower today. I realized how big they are when I looked at myself naked in the mirror. They are huge already even though they are high. I'm ok with that. Band still measuring at 29 which means I'm not too swollen. Even though I'm swollen all around my armpits. I had to get my SO to help me shower and wash parts of my body I couldn't reach, or back and under arms.
Haven't needed any pain pills since last night. Like I said for me the pain is like a 2/3 on a scale of 1/10. Oh I have been rubbing the gel on them every couple of hours too. Omg it helps a lot.

Day 2

Lol had my SO measure me to see where I was at, my band is still the same. I did have to take only one pain pill since arriving home. The pain to me is bearable. The swelling is going down. I do every so often pull the surgical bra down to allow my breasts to breathe. Omg burning hot. I have been constantly keeping an ice pack on them. I do wrap the ice packs in a thin tee shirt.

My range of motion is limited. I can get in and out of bed on my own. I can't pull on my yoga pants though. Thank god for my SO. Can't wait to shower. Haven't needed any other pain pills yet. Oh also I have a bruise under my left breast at the incision site.

Day 1

After about 2 hours after surgery I started to feel ok. Ate a full meal no nausea. No pain actually. By the end of the day though I was starting to feel sore up by my collar bone. I immediately started ice packs too. Which helped. My chest felt like it was on fire. Slept on and off the first night. Still really hadn't felt a difference emotionally about having gone through the surgery.

So far during my consultations he and his staff have been great. They are very knowledgeable and have years of experience. He I s more expensive than other doctors in the metro area. With more cost comes more experience. Excited to get my procedure. His staff is wonderful and I found myself relating to them on a more personal level.
