I decided to get the Vi peel after contemplating this treatment for 2 years. I've had acne in the past that left some hyperpigmentation spots on my face. Also I have a brown patch above my upper lip and other areas of discoloration. I have a few again spots as well. So based on my review of the Vi peel i thought that my minor skin issues will be cleared.

I decided to go ahead and get the service. Today is Day 4 and the only peeling that has taken place is around my mouth. Yes I can see a little lightening of my skin but nothing substantial. At this point, I can see where I'm getting my money worth.

This peel is taking a very long time. My face feels tight and irritated. I would have preferred another service that is more of a quick fix. But waiting days and days for this small amount of peeling leaves you anxious. You really don't want to leave the house because of the flakes on your face and not knowing what the next hour will bring.

I hope that things go better over the next few days. I really wont have the time to deal with this process after the weekend.

at this point i feel that this has been a rip off. my face has been feeling irritated since Day 1 and no results worth getting me excited. This has been an inconvenience and I'm not the type that sit around the house all day. I wish I could have kept the $300 in my pocket and made better use of it.

i called the doctor and they said " you may not peel, not everyone peels". Ok this is am agressive chemical peel that is ineffective in peeling? again only 15% of my face has peeled and tomorrow will be Day 5.

Sorry to hear you aren't loving the peel. It really is a bummer when you have hopes for a certain amount of change, but then don't see it.
