Chin & Jowel Lipo - Birmingham, AL

I'm 6 days post op. Still pretty swollen and sore and have only taken my compression garment off once. So not sure of results yet, but I'm very optimistic. I am 42, have good skin, but about 30 lbs. overweight. However, even when I was super thin throughout my twenties, I always hated my double chin. So you can imagine now how much it bothered me. The surgery itself was fine, I was put under so I don't remember anything. But afterwards, the pain wasn't bad at all. My only problem has been chewing and yawning, but I just cut everything into tiny bites. I go back at 7 days to get the stitches out, and then I will be able to wear this garment less. I am excited to see how it looks!

8 days out. Now only wearing my garment at night. Although I'm still swollen, numb and slightly bruised (just the yellow type, not bad at all), I can definitely see a difference. I know I won't know my full results for 3 months, but I can already say it is definately worth it. I get my stitches out tomorrow. The numbness is the weirdest part- it feels like your chin/neck weighs 50 pounds, but it is not painful, just strange. I had the vaser lipo. I am shocked the bruising is not bad at all. I read the reviews here before I did it, and was prepared for a mostly black and blue neck for 2 weeks, but, that did not happen for me. I'm already out and about with no scarves or anything covering my neck!
Could u post pics? I live in Bham and have been considering the same procedure.
