As I have aged I have lost some of the volume in my cheeks and didn't quite have that apple-cheeked look I'd had as a teenager and in my twenties. So I just wanted them plumped a little so I would look more awake and have a warmer, fuller, sweeter smile.
I did it ultimately because I could have spent the money I spent on my cheeks on a few pairs of designer shoes...but frankly I would rather wake up and look good in the mirror than look good in some stilettos for an hour one day a week.
