I had some loss of volume in my cheeks (more on the right than the left side) even after a fat transfer a year ago. I went to see Dr. Shemirani to fix the irregularities. First I thought about doing another fat transfer, but he introduced me to the idea of using fillers instead. It was a cost-saving solution and for the small area I was looking to fix, the expense of a fat transfer was not worthy. Dr. Shemirani gave me a couple of options for the fillers. I went ahead with Voluma and could not be happier. I started taking Arnica two days prior to my procedure to minimize swelling and bruising. The day of the procedure, he used numbing cream for about 10-15 minutes and the injections were virtually painless. I had NO bruising and loving the results.
