Liposuction: Stories

Hi there, I have been reading these blogs for over a year,I finally scheduled my liposuction for 10/27/11 in CA, I will be flying in the day before for my consult. I choose Dr Ameron because this is his main trade. I looked for several doctors in my area, but went with him because of how he really tries to blend in the areas you have liposuctioned with the surrounding areas. His website is so educational and he has dozens of links from his website of video of his clients having lipo while awake and talking through the whole thing, anyone here used him? He has also been on a few talk shows

Anyway, I am an active mother who just couldnt loose the fat on my hips and thigh area.I did have to send in my pix pre-op to get a price range and get things rolling (how I hate looking at those pix)Anyway, I am packing my bags to leave next week.I will post before and after pictures after surgery, but I can tell you that I am 140 pounds, 5 ft 3 inch and a whole lot of nerves. My areas of concern are my hips/flanks/outer thigh area, the price quote of 3500 is not including my thighs,I added that afterwards, so I dont know how much extra that is.

He writes and talks alot about being able to shape your flank/hips to help give a better roundness to your butt, and my hubby is a butt man, so this is what I am hoping for. I am on a low carb diet, and fitting in as many leg lunges as possible. :)

I am 7 hours post lipo and I have to say I feel great. The office staff was wonderful. I met Dr Amron for the first time yesterday during my pre-op and he was amazing. He truly took the time to evaluate my whole body. My procedure took maybe an hour, I walked out and I have felt great today. I'm sure that when I wake up in the morning it will be another story. I haven't need even a Tylenol, and I have low pain tolerance. I work in a major Hospital out if state, and I can tell you this office is very pampering and professional. If anyone has any questions, please ask away. I will post my pix soon, all I have are my pre op and I'm now in my garmet. Another note, since I was flying in from Seattle , most of my questions and information was via email, and Dr Amrons assistant Jacolyn answered every email within an hour, even on the weekends. We have over 30 emails back and forth.

I measured myself a few days ago, so far I have lost 2 inches off my hips!!
