Dr. Motykie is amazing, as is his work! He is the most kind plastic surgeon I've met and had 1-to-1 dealings with in the Los Angeles area. He isn't like every other plastic surgeon in LA (I had consultations with the top 2 plastic surgeons in the LA area before choosing to go with Dr. Motykie). He truly cares about his patients and is on top of the industry's latest trends so his patients heal quicker with less scaring (which was one of the main reasons I chose him). Also, during my consultations with him, he always seemed more concerned with making sure all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed than he was about "how much time he was spending with me". He never made me feel like he was too busy to spend time with me or answer all my questions. Oh yeah, you should also know that since about July/August of 2011, Dr. Motykie's office staff was completely revamped and he now has extremely nice, capable, educated and caring nurses and in/out patient directors and office admins working for him. Such an improvement from last year! I had lipo done in July 2011 and more lipo including a tummy tuck in Jan 2012. Just ONE week after my surgery, my TT incisions are so nominal it's crazy! My new belly button looks amazing and like I never even had work done to it at all. I'll post photos shortly but really wanted to just get the word out there about how easy Dr. Motykie is to work with and how wonderful his new staff is to work is. I never had a problem getting a call back or getting through to his office. I was taken very good care of. I never had to worry about a thing and when you're already nervous about a surgery to begin with, there's nothing you want more than to feel like you're being taken care of. Dr. Motykie is busy, he's a very popular surgeon because of how great his work is so you may have to wait just a bit for surgery day, but getting into see him for consultations and pre/post ops was always a breeze.
