I flew in from Missouri to have Dr. Cassileth and Dr. Memsic perform my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction following the breast cancer diagnosis. I felt like I was in excellent hands! Everyone on the team (surgeons, nurses, accounting) is world-class. Within a week following the surgery, I was only on ibuprofin and able to get around. The surgery was incredibly successful without any infection. Beyond that, Cassileth and Memsic are beautiful souls--I wanted to take them home with me. :-)
