Post-Operation Day 3! Ladies and Gents, I'm feeling fabulous! I went to Dr. Kim and did the umbilical approach and WOW, the pain has been very minimal. I was off all my pain medication by Day 2, but I have a high tolerance for pain.

My stomach was really sensitive Day 1 but now feels almost back to normal. I was really surprised that my pain levels have been so low since I got such large implants, but I think Dr. Kim is very gentle. My augmentation took only 45 minutes and my breasts are so even, I went under the muscle so it will take some time for my implants to drop. I love my boobies already!

Updated on 6 Feb 2012:
It's been six weeks since surgery and I feel like myself again. I feel great! My breasts are slowly dropping and they are looking very pretty. As they are dropping and fluffing they are growing. Im fitting into 32 F nicely, Victoria's secret 34 DD works but is a bit snug. I still fit into all my XS clothing and it looks great. They don't look to big with clothing over it in my opinion. They look like a full D clothing over. But then again im wearing sports bras. I can do everything I could do before surgery except lift heavy things over 10 lbs...doctor's orders. I was really worried that the implants would have an effect on my immune system and health but actually I feel a lot better now than I did before surgery. I feel a lot more confident. I don't have to wear uncomfortable push up bras.

I have regained all my energy And started going to the gym about 2 weeks ago for 2 hours a day. I feel 110% I don't lift anything over 10 lbs

My Doctor: David E. Kim, MD

My rating:

He is an extremely talented surgeon. His main procedures according to his staff are rhinoplasty's and breast augmentations. He is an extremely sweet guy who is very experienced and artistic. His staff is also amazing the nurses, Shirely, Alania, and Theresa were so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. David Kim to anyone who wants a gentle, methodical, experienced breast augmentation surgeon. He is also very sought after! He had six surgeries the day I got my breasts done, so you know he must be doing something right!

So I have to ask once u dropped did u boobs look bigger? my implants done on 11/30/11 look about like yours and I'm hoping after they drop they will look bigger
Happy Dappy 8 Jan 2012
I got my implants done Dec 27th. so I'm only a couple weeks out and they have dropped a lot. I'm a 32 dd and I think that once they drop given the new shape they will fill out larger bras. If you go to the Just Breast Implant forum you can find people with similar experiences. In about 90% of the cases, once they drop they fill out a larger cup size. For me, the size is perfect.

Thanks for posting your story and photos here on RealSelf! I agree that you looked pretty before, but the after look is nice, too. Did you go with saline or silicone implants?

i am looking towards having a boob job i am an aa is there a size limit?
Butterhoney 18 Jan 2012
Most doctors try not to go higher than 400cc .... But there's more to it than just size...... For example shape . Under or over the muscle , incision type silicone or saline. Good luck
Happy Dappy 6 Feb 2012
AA I would do with something smaller because you can see the implant more probably around 250-350. There is no size limit it's all dependent on how natural you want to look. You can always find a surgeon to do something like that, not a problem, the question is do you want the implant to show?
Happy Dappy 6 Feb 2012
Btw, you can shrink up your boobies like 3 cup sizes in certain bras so don't worry about people noticing. With me, my pics i look huge but in actuality I can look like a B with a certain bra on. Or I can look like a mutant with a padded bra. It's fun how you can flip back and forth. It's all what you want people to notice. I spent the weekend with my sister and she didn't even mention anything about my boobs and she always does, like oh, "they look bigger"...nope nothing (slightly insulted). Saw my mother same thing, she touched my shirt and I was worried she was going to notice and then she said, "Is that the lacoste symbol?" Anyways, don't worry ladies if you're worried about the judgements from other people.

Wow, first off this is a site to help others who are interested or getting surgery. Not a place to critique other people's decisions. If I knew people were going to do that I wouldnt lend put personal information about my situation. Real Self, I'm disappointed that you don't track what others are saying. Ladies go to Just Breast Implants Forum if you need support and advice about the surgery.

As for your comment - I don't hate you, just don't see why you felt it was necessary to waste your keystroke. First gather some facts before you judge, first off - Why don't you actually take a closer at the photo and realize I am sitting down taking a close shot of my body, I think any breasts at this angle will look bigger. Hahaha, it's fine, I agree they look really large, but under clothes I look like a C - D cup.

Hi there! We do monitor comments. I agree that what butterhoney said wasn't very supportive, but it stops shy of being abusive and, hence, is still within our guidelines.

If you're happy with your size, try to focus on the many ladies here who are supporting you!

Thanks Angie. I'm sorry, I didn't mean those things about real self, you guys were my number #1 source to go before I went into surgery. I really respect the hard work you guys put into making a very informative website with supportive members. I was just a bit angry in moment.

No worries!

I think they look great!
SiliconeGirl 8 Feb 2012
I completely disagree with honeybutter I think you look amazing. I bet you have a beautiful hourglass shape now, and you have a great amount of side boob.
Hyattsville5051 8 Feb 2012
I too disagree with honey butter. This is a personal choice and this web site is designed to help others and to share experiences, not to judge. I think they look great. May I ask if you had over or under and did you get saline or silicone? Congrats on your successful surgery and sharing your experience.
Hyattsville5051 8 Feb 2012
opps meant butter honey.
Happy Dappy 8 Feb 2012
Thank you so much with your positive comments. I really appreciate them, truly the only reason I bothered putting up this profile with updates because I remember how starved I was for information. There are not a lot of websites where you can go to see progression pictures and for me, before I had the augmentation, that was one of the things I was most curious to see.

Thanks Hyatsville, Falluphill, and silicone girl!!! :-) I went with saline and under the muscle.
Butterhoney 8 Feb 2012
Maybe my comment was harsh but I never said they look bad . Just big . I was wondering why she chose that size. Maybe they'll look smaller in clothes . And from what I read swelling goes down after several months .
Bumble21 8 Feb 2012
I am so sorry that people dont think before they say things or just leave there not nice comments to themselves....but i think you look amazing you and i had our surgeries really close and pretty much got the same size implants too :) Dont let anyones opinions get to you, you look great!!
Butterhoney 8 Feb 2012
Ok... So when can say how great some one looks but its wrong for someone to state an opinion that isnt a complement......
scrappy37 3 Mar 2012
When it's not a compliment, then keep it to yourself. These are people's choices, not yours. If you don't think someone looks great, you don't have to lie- just don't say it that's all. But do realize that people are putting themselves in a vulnerable position by posting such personal things, such as pictures of themselves. Just put yourself in her shoes. If someone said something negative about how yours look that isn't a medical condition, wouldn't you feel bad?
That's all. I am not being judgmental of you either, just trying to help you understand.
Happy Dappy 8 Feb 2012
Doesn't that seem a bit obvious? This is a place where people have augmented their bodies by means of surgery to change their physical appearance. It's an incredibly personal and sensitive subject. This is not a "hot or not" website where you have the liberty to judge.

Plus, your comment served ZERO purpose. What did you achieve writing something like that? You could have left this as a simple, "sorry" but you continue to defend your position. This is a place where people RISK their lives for surgery to permanently change a part of their body. So calling someone a cartoon 1 month after traumatic surgery is not only flat out rude but is incredibly hurtful.
booie34 9 Feb 2012
i think you went too big personally, but congrats.
