Day 3

Hi everyone,

So it's been 3 days since surgery and I've just been trying to rest and keep a positive attitude. Unfortunately, my right breast is as flat as a pancake and the areola incision is indented. The top of the breast looks almost concave. I'm hoping somehow it will inflate a little but that's unrealistic. I don't miss my implants in any way shape or form which is great. My left breasts saggy but at least I feel like I have a breast on that side. I'll post pics in the next couple days.

For those who have had the surgery, what should I expect to change in the upcoming weeks? Will they fill out a little bit?

Thanks!

They are out!

Hi ladies!

So I had my surgery this morning and I must say, I was more anxious this time than any of my other previous surgeries. I was expecting to feel lighter when I woke up but truth is, I'm wrapped up so tight, it's difficult to feel lighter. I sure as hell feel relieved though! No hard rock and heavy water bags! I'm so happy I did this.

The recovery has been surprisingly easy too, so far. I had slight pain in only my right breast (side with CC), which is pretty much non existent now. In my left one felt zero pain. I've only had to take 1 painkiller the entire day, which is great.

They look flat but that's what I expected. I'm sure they will fluff out a little. I'm wrapped super tight so all I can see is the top half of the breast. I stuck my finger down there just to see what I could feel and it is amazing to feel my skin, tissue, and ribs instead of my skin and a hard rock. I'm happy! :)

I don't think I'm going to look at them for a couple days, I don't want to get discouraged in case they look scary. But we will see what happens at my post op tomorrow. I will keep you all posted.

The big day is in less than 12 hours!

Hi all!
So I saw Dr. Kim today and he doesn't recommend the crease incision for me so he will be going in via areola. He also doesn't think I will need drains in both breasts, only the right one (the one I have CC in). I'll let you guys know how it goes as soon as I can! Wish me luck! :)))
