Bad news -- not a candidate for BBL. Doc Hughes recs Implants+ fat graft
I met with Dr. Hughes today. Nice guy and very direct, honest. Though it seems the staff was in a bit of a rush today. He said I didn't have enough fat for a BBL with good results. I tried to have him lipo any and all available part of me but still no go. He said I should maintain my weight and instead, have butt implants and a fat graft over it -- basically lipo-ing whatever he can get out of my low back sides and inner thighs. He said he wouldnt lipo my tummy area.
Soooooo I'm extremely disappointed because all this time I though BBL would be my route and now with this news, I just don't know anymore.
I have looked at some reviews for the combo procedure and am dead afraid of the higher complication risk and possibly an unnatural feel.
Can any of you who have done this combo procedure before comment on your experience?
I also met Adam who is nice and was willing to work out numbers with me but seemed a little pushy on the sell.

I was able to book an appointment with Dr. Hughes this weekend. I'm pretty stoked and really just interested in his opinion upon examining me. Hoping he doesn't recommend I gain too much weight? Currently I'm 5'5 and 118 maybe 120 with some bloat!

A little background on me, I am quite broad in the shoulders/chest, small waist, some hips and an EH booty. 30 years old, 5'5, 118 lbs. currently 34-24-33
I have been feverishly scouring the internet trying to locate the best PS for the BBL I have been heavily considering --by heavily I mean I'm going to do it for certain. I met with Dr. Bruno yesterday and let me tell you, he is fabulous. He's humble, brutally honest, and gives you realistic expectations. He isn't in a rush to get you to the table and collect some $$$. Disappointingly, he told me I needed to gain like 12 lbs to even have good results. That made me a bit sad, but after he outlined the reasons, I totally understand. I have a big event coming up in a few months so I will be even thinner around that time. I am anticipating some baby makin' within the next year or two, so now the debate is whether I should do this before or after pregnancy. I know ideally, I should do this after pregnancy cause I would have already gained the necessary weight for the procedure, but i dont want to wait what seems like forever! Yes yes i know I've already waited this long, whats another 2 years. Believe me, after seeing what results I COULD have now, waiting is just not the favorable option.
My one conundrum about gaining weight --other than the obvious gaining weight-- is that some of this weight will show up on my face. Also, this is a procedure I'm hoping to be on the downlow, since, it isn't something one wishes to disclose to everyone who wants to share their unwelcome (negative) opinions. I cant be away from work long, so 1.5 weeks is the absolute max i can be gone. Obviously I need to find ways to conceal my umm donut cushion at work.
Right now, I feel there are a lot of hurdles against me in having this done, but I'm just going to take it day to day.
I am hoping to have this procedure done by June-July of this year. Will keep you posted.
