I found Dr. Katzen to be a caring and attentive...
I found Dr. Katzen to be a caring and attentive surgeon. After loosing 80 pounds, I had a lot of extra skin, particularly on my thighs, buttock and lower thighs/knees. I had a lower circumferential body lift which included my inner and outer thighs all the way down past my knees, my buttock and tummy/midriff area, front and back. He spent 10 hours on me, instead of the scheduled 8, because he said that wanted to 'make sure everything was perfect.' My procedure turned out even better than I had imagined it would!
Pre and post surgery, Dr. Katzen was right there, with a reassuring and smiling face. He came to the recovery facility immediately after I arrived to check on me and spend time with me. His staff, Jane and Belinda even came to see me with beautiful flowers the day after my surgery!
After arriving back home in Oregon, anytime I had a question or concern, Dr. Katzen always got right back to me. If I had something that I thought that I needed extra attention with, I followed his direction to a tee, and sure enough, everything worked out fine.
Believe me, after interviewing several surgeons, I found Dr. Katzen to be particularly knowledgeable as a doctor, and his surgical skills are nothing short of amazing!
I am able to wear shorts and skirts now for the first time in 30 years! Something that I had all but given up on. I have another procedure scheduled with Dr. Katzen for this month to replace old breast implants combined with a brachioplasty. Normally, I would be as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof, as I can be a big baby when it comes to surgery and general anesthesia, but since it's going to be with Dr. Katzen, my apprehension has been kept to a minimum.
I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Katzen and his staff!! They literally gave me the life and confidence that I had only dreamed about before! I never thought that it would be possible for me to look like this and be able to feel so free. I am enjoying things that I never could have been able to do before; Swimming, (yes-In a bathing suit, even!), shorts-Oh,I could go on and on.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Katzen to my family and friends in an instant.
