I am on my second cycle of VelaShape. I had my first cycle a year ago. It works well for me. My first cycle was hips/thighs/abdomen. My current cycle is abdomen/arms. During both cycles I experienced a reduction in the circumference of the treated part. In fact, after my first cycle (hips/thighs/abdomen) I dropped 1-2 pants sizes. My cellulite was greatly diminished -- it was visible only in really bad lighting.

Over the course of the year between cycles, my abdominal flab, sadly, returned, but hips/thighs/abdomen still look in the acceptable range. I just had my fifth treatment this cycle (abdomen/arms) -- abdomen is now greatly improved. The flab is significantly diminished, and I have a discernible waist again.

The treatment is mostly pain free, but on occasion the machine burns the skin it's treating for a fleeting moment or two. (Nothing serious -- no permanent marks or damage.) Certain parts of the body are more sensitive to suction than others -- you can always have the technician turn the suction down if it's too intense.

VelaShape works really well for me, and I'm probably going to keep getting treatments every few years for the rest of my life.
