6 Month Recheck with Dr. Partington

I just had my six month follow up and cannot say enough about the whole process. I’m a bit of a fearful person and everyone was so kind and warm, professional but almost personal, beginning with my consultant, who explained the procedure from start to finish and let me talk to someone who already had already been through the procedure. Then my nurses let me decide how sleepy I wanted to be, and then held my hand during the procedure when I got scared. And my doctor, Dr. Partington, who never made this plump late middle aged woman feel old or frumpy. He gave me an extra pain shot mid-procedure when I needed it, and even let me pick the music (Disney all the way). Once when I turned to thank the nurse for holding my hand, I realized she was at my feet working with the fluid containers and it was Dr. Partington patting my hand in reassurance. Then the morning after, my doctor called to check on me, even though he was at a family birthday party. I felt so comfortable and taken care of that I went back twice to have other areas done. I have recommended Bellevue SonoBello and Dr. Partington to family and friends. Without question I would do it all again, with the same staff at Bellevue SonoBello. They feel like part of my family!

Well I'm writing this early in my recovery. Just under a week ago I had waist, hips, upper and lower abs, bra roll done by Dr. Partington at Sono Bello. I am not a regular exerciser like everyone else here is. But I barely hit 100 lbs at age 18, and have always been skinny, until I wasn't. I think my age and slowing metabolism caught up with me. Since then it's been a struggle of personal trainer at the gym, weight watchers, exercise videos, anti inflammatory diets, etc. And nothing really worked for very long. And nothing gave me any permanent solution. Until now. I'll review again later on in my healing but for now let me just say I feel pampered, thinner, a bit fragile, but better every day. Price listed is so far, not including my next procedures coming up.

Typically I feel awkward with male doctors, but with Dr Partington I feel completely at ease. He was pinching my fat, smoothing my skin, talking to me about it the whole time. He scraped a nearby spot while giving shots to give me a different sensation rather than pain. He's kind and gentle, brilliant with stories of his worldly travels (he also helps kids in other countries), and just put me at ease right away. He let me lay on my side for comfort, let a nurse hold my hand the whole time, and we all just chatted away between "ouch" and "oh that's a funny vibration feelilng" He even called me at home the next day to check on me. I'm having more work done and going to Dr Partington again. I don't think I could possibly select a better doctor.
