This review has been a long time coming because Dr. Ridgway is amazing! I have heard horror stories about Botox and I am very afraid of needles so never considered Botox as an option for me however, I was not happy with my wrinkles and sagging eyelids. My friend recommended him as a fabulous doctor and really being an expert in his field. From the minute I walked into the office until the minute I left, Dr. Ridgway and his staff put me at ease. His staff are very professional and kind, which is so important. Dr. Ridgway himself, is also very professional but also personable. He put me at ease immediately while asking me questions to better help him know what I was looking and hoped for as well as my motivation for being in his office. We also talked about my fear of needles and he went to great lengths to help me feel as comfortable as possible. He explained everything that he was going to do, what to expect, where I might feel the needle more or less and even gave me a ball to squeeze to put all my anxiety into. He talked me through the entire process and explained when I would start seeing results. In addition, I don't live in Seattle but in San Francisco. When my friend convinced me to go to him, I sent him an email asking for a consultation, also explaining that I was leaving the next day in the evening. He fit me in that morning and really spent time with me explaining the process, as mentioned above, and never made me feel like I was "fit in" or that he didn't really have time for me. I felt so comfortable with him that I got Botox for the first time that very day. The next time I was in town, I contacted him and he got me in the next day again and I loved the results even more than the first! I was getting married and really wanted to feel like I looked my best and his work on me made that happen! I am going back to Seattle to visit again for Thanksgiving and hope to be able to get in with him again. Unfortunately, I didn't even think of taking before and after photos because my "11's" and forehead lines have softened to the point of being almost non-existent and my eyelids have lifted and I would love to see that improvement now. That reminds that he also asks how extreme you want to go with the Botox, more natural or not! I chose a more natural approach. It is wonderful that he talks about these options and gives his patients a choice as well as some guidance. He told me that he understood that I live somewhere else and may want to go to someone in SF but honestly, I can't imagine going to anyone else for Botox. He is fantastic, caring, professional and personable. Overall, a wonderful doctor that I would refer to any of my friends or family.
