“BBL with VASER in DC FEB 6”
Spent: $8,000 in Virginia
Today i scheduled my surgery. I will doing it at a hospital because I'm having multiple areas done along with fat grafting to the butt also known as a Brazilian butt lift. I searched all over DC/Bethesda, Fredericksburg VA and even Richmond VA. I finally decided on Dr Frank Richards. He has two offices on in Mclean VA and on in Bethesda, MD. Anyway, after extensive research and several consultations, Dr Richards worked with me on a price that fit my budget. His before and after photos for lipo are absolutely amazing. My surgery is scheduled to last 3 hours. The vaser will be on my flanks, (bra buldge is included with flanks) upper/lower abdomen (they considered it one) and inner thighs. I am naturally athletic but my heritage has left me with a little to be desired. I will post before and after photos once I've had the surgery done!
Has anyone else out there had the surgery done that had multiple sights worked on with maybe a BBL done too? I'm wondering at the down time for all of this and how much swelling there was. I am super excited about my procedure though, I will keep all of you updated about it.

I can't wait. So super excited to have this procedure done! I absolutely hate buying jeans and wearing them because even though I'm smaller, I get a muffin top and because I have no butt, I'm constantly pulling them up. My doctor gave me some good advice at my pre op which was last Thursday. He told me to stay away from Sodium like pasta since that'll make my swelling worse. Also pre operation he had me stop my birth control as that can make blood clotting worse. He's prescribed me Vicodin as well as motion sickness patches that you place behind the ear. I start wearing them the night before surgery. He said that they'll help with any type of nausea I'll get after the surgery. The only thing that worries me is he suggested that I only wear the compression garmet for 1 week then change into spanx if I want to continue wearing one. Is this good advice? I've read so many pages were 2 weeks is the MINIMUM. Anyway, any advice would be appreciated! Any other foods you guys ate to help swelling? Anything to do to get the best results possible? Thanks for any help in advance!

Hey everyone I just wanted to say thanks for all your reviews and postings. They are so motivational! A little about me is that im 5'8 and weigh 135lbs. I have had one child born on August 28 2011. I have an athletic build with a super flat butt and stubborn pockets of fat that just won't go away. I always promised myself that after I had a kid I would fix that problem. So here I am now about to get vaser and fat graphing for a If you guys have any advice please share it with me. My doc gave me vicodin and motion sickness patches for the naseua from the anesthesia. Are there food I should eat to encourage the healing or foods to stay away from? Is anyone else having the procedure done on the same day? Thanks for all your help!

So I had my surgery done yesterday. I have gone under anesthesia 3 other times and never been nauseous, however, with this surgery last night I couldn't stop from feeling sick, even with the motion sickness patches the doc prescribed to me. However, this morning has been a lot better. No more nausea, and I can handle all my food and water. I am incredibly soar. My doc put on the compression garmet, and inside of the abdomen part there is a large foam board, I'm guessing it's to help shape the abs. I am incredibly swollen, but I hope that's for a good reason-being I hope that it's because he took out as much as he possibly could because I had little fat to begin with. He took out 3 liters and put 400CC in each butt cheek. When I get the before and after pictures I'll post them on here if anyone wants to see them.
Anyway, so what do you do for a week when you can't lay on your stomach because you have a drain on it, can only sit for a small amount of time(he injected the fat into the top of my butt so I can handle sitting now and then. ) Any one have any ideas?

So, I took my first shower today. I was already skinny, but now i'm really skinny in the front and I have a much tinier waist! My backside is super swollen and bruised. My inner thighs are already starting to get hard and my upper abdomen is getting hard too. My butt looks deformed for now, but that's because I have so much swelling in my butt, and my back. I just took these pictures, I hope this helps anyone who's looking forward to getting vaser with a BBL!

So today is day 2 post op. It's by far much easier to move around although the swelling is still very substantial. My only worry-although I know it's only day 2- is that on the picture I posted from day 1 post op you can see where he injected the fat in the upper quadrant of my butt cheeks. You can also see that it's not round. Is this how is usually looks right after surgery? Will it round out as the swelling goes down? I'm so worried that my butt will be deformed like this and it will have all been a waste! I know most people add pictures of like 1 week post op or more,am I worrying too soon?

So last night-end of post op day 2-I slept on my stomach. Besides waking up a ton more it ended up causing my drain to fill quicker. I'm guessing this is a good thing since I don't want any thing left to drain. And ironically my drain seems to work the best when I'm laying down vs standing up and moving about. I hope I can get it taken out by tomorrow but most likely it'll be Monday. I did try on a pair of fitted slacks and even with this insane amount of swelling there is already extra room in the waist! My back is still by far the most swollen and I can't wait to see the s curve he's given me there once the swelling resides. As far as pain I am moving around easier today but still painful. I think I'm finally hitting that-17 hours in a gym feeling. I can move, and it's painful, but not unreasonable. I'll post more pictures tomorrow as day 4 post op.

So, day 5 post op. Sorry I didn't get pics up yesterday but I just didn't feel up to it. But here are some pics I took today. My stomach has gotten a little flatter, my back is still really swollen but it's flatter too, and my butt is better also.

Saw the doc today, he took out my drain and told me with a definate yes that if bee still getting way smaller with more sculpting to my abs and even thinner thighs still. Awesome! He also told me that I didn't have to wear my compression garmet anymore so I took off my fill body one and purchased a fleexes forum control tank top one. It works awesome.

So today I had my 4 week check out, although technically 4 weeks was 2 days ago on monday....but anyway-I still have a ton of hardness around my waist. It's like a hard thick band goes all the way around my waist-across my abs, and across my mid back. I guess that's good news because that means the scar tissue will still go away and I'll be even smaller! Anyhow, he sent me my before and after pics as of post op-and 1 month and 2 days.

The wait time for Dr. Richards when I scheduled my surgery Jan 26, was april or may. However, when I explained to him that I really wanted to get it done before my husband got back home from military training he got me a spot for the OR room for Feb 6. His staff was super nice and always answered my questions no matter how small they were. They were never once snobbish, just very smiley, and they looked like the really did love their job of helping others!

Hey there, congratulations on your surgery. How are you laying if you can't be on your stomach or butt? On your side?
Wow, you can definitely see a thinner waist line. Once the swelling and bruising goes down it's going to look awesome!
Take care, and be happy!
