Woke up one day last year and thought...I don't want these things in me anymore. They are uncomfortable and I was always self conscious with them. Since then I had been researching about the removal. Finally talked to my new family Doctor who referred me to the plastic surgeon. Referral from the Dr was free. No consultation charge. Then I found out that our governments health coverage (Canada) was going to cover all costs...wow. I felt like I hit the jackpot and it was meant to be. It's been 4 days now and I am uncomfortable but not in pain per say... The drainage tubes come out tomorrow which will make a huge difference. I would tell all women not to be scared. If you are thinking about Implant removal - do it.
