How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

After much struggling and contemplating, I finally...

After much struggling and contemplating, I finally plucked up courage to go ahead with this procedure. I'm surrounded by people who are not for plastic surgery. So it was a tough decision to make. But I realised that we must never make decisions based on people's approval.
So there I was! Dr Pichet has been very prompt in his reply to my emails. I'm aware that reviews on Dr Pichet have been good but there were also some that shared negative experiences. My experience had been a pleasant one. Given i was traveling alone and it was the first time in my life going under the knife. This website has been a great help for my research! Thank you ladies for sharing all your wonderful tips and experiences.
The day of Op:
As it was my first operation, I was terribly frightened. Nobody held my hand when I was sedated unlike some of the girls who shared their experience. But, it was okay. The next thing I knew, the operation was over! It was like 1 second. I didn't even realised I was asleep. And i was telling the nurses don't do the op first cause i was still conscious. I felt super sore. And i hate the part when i have to sit up, though the bed was automated but my chest felt so heavy. And i imagined them dropping out. After much rest, a nurse accompanied me back to my hotel with the driver. I appreciate this gesture cause I was alone. She sent me all the way to my room. Every bump on the car ride back hurts. By the time i was back at the hotel, it was around 6pm. I ordered room service- steak (protein!). And tried to sleep with my head on 2 stacks of pillow on. It was a difficult night. I woke up on and off.
Waking up from the bed HURTS big time! I salute those girls who said it wasn't much of a pain. But hell, it hurts. I whined, groaned and took the longest time trying every morning. This is the part when i wished i hadn't come alone. But each day gets a little better. My stay: 5 Jan to 9 Jan. 5 Jan- op, 6 Jan- appointment and 9 Jan- review before flying off. Each time, there was a smily driver sending me to and fro.
Bloated tummy
It's true! Like what everyone has shared, my tummy is bloated like a 3 months pregnant lady. Gotta be patient. Even til now at 12th day post-op, it's still less but still bloated. Eat healthy whole food like quinoa, prunes, greek yogurt and meat for protein. Quinoa and prunes help to detox.
Shopping at Pratunam
On my 3rd day, I actually went to do some light shopping at pratunam. Not the wisest thing to do. But if i continue to stay in the hotel room, i think i will go crazy. Dr pichet also encouraged me to walk around as long as i can.
Size: Zero to 300cc
I wanted to look natural. Even though i felt i could have chosen something larger but i think 300cc is good enough. Im no longer flat as pancake! =D
Back to work
Im back to work(office) on the 9th day post op. Walked much slower than usual and still felt the discomfort. So for those of you who are planning when to start working, do make sure to take a few more days leave than me. I stopped painkillers on day 4. That's all for now. Will keep y'all updated again.

Prompt in his response. Noticed that there were a lot of other patients in his clinic. He is super busy! 2nd and subsequent appointments were a bit rush. But before the surgery, he was warm and assuring.
