Carla told me they are capable of doing these surgeries with there eyes closed. I am so ready to get this over with. This is also a birthday gift India123. As you can see I started my journey almost a year ago. i can't believe how easy it is for some than others to get an immediate appt. but i must say i pray its all worth the wait. Not yet ready to post pictures. Got to get over the nerves but i will do so soon. i couldn't wait to drop that gown so Dr. Pitman could take pics of my flab. He has assured me i will be pleased with the outcome. I've already paid for my surgery in full. I will be at the center ready to go the day of.

It's Friday night 8:30pm and I am sitting here reflecting on all I've been thru to get to this point. Spoke with Carla today at Johns Hopkins and my surgery date is April 3rd 2014 at 8:30 am. It's been 6 months and 16 days since my initial consultation 8/12/13 til Friday 2/28/14. I am awaiting for the nurse to email me my paperwork for lab and EKG clearance. Lord I pray this goes smoothly after all the stress I've been thru trying to get an appt date.

Hi ladies, Let's talk about what to expect prior to surgery. I only have a few weeks left. What do I really need to do most importantly. I will have a 3 hr drive to the hospital. Is one night stay enough or should I just come on home the day after surgery? Do I need a raised toilet set? What is the best compression garment? I was told by nurse Carla to purchase 2 one large and one larger. And that I would awake in garment. MY STORY: My initial appt was back in August of 2013. I paid my security deposit and been waiting ever since. After many complaints of not being scheduled and joining several weight loss clinics in the process. I manage to loss 20 lbs on my own. After complaining to Carla I was rescheduled for a second consultation on Friday February 28, 2014. Today, I was contacted by nurse Carla with an surgery offer as 4/3/2014 and now I am awaiting paperwork for labs and EKG. I saw Dr. Nan on Friday but he will not be doing my surgery. It will be a female resident surgeon. We'll this will be a great 50th birthday present.
