I saw a groupon for it, decided I was tired of my super coarse underarm/bikini line hair and just went for it! No more stubble, no more razor burn. I mean, I was shaving anyway, so I didn't feel I was compromising my feminist ideals by going one more step above to something more permanent.
My personal cons? I have super sensitive skin & no money. So, I found doctors who would work with my skin, and let me use a payment plan for followup appointments. The pain gets way less and less as the hair disappears. I LOVE not having to worry if I shaved recently enough to wear a tank top. I just effin wear it!

This is a family joint, they are kind and casual - not stuffy, and very knowledgeable with a ton of experience. There wasn't a lot of followup attention needed for these procedures, so I just called them when I needed another appointment. Worked out great!
