So day 8 yesterday had my cast removed. I know a lot of people asked for a before after I only am posting the profile view for now since the fronts swollen

Hello everyone so I'm only on day 5 and after months and months of planning I finally took the plung and did it. I was nervous at first because after watching people's personal journeys with it and such I was nervous of possible results and /or the sweeping and bruising that accompanies it. I personally have a bad history of bruising and scaring in relation to healing so naturally I expected the worst (black eye lids puffy checks.. The works) well day 5 and here I am, slight puffiness on my checks, and each eyelid had one dark purple line. Overall swelling and bruising is at a 3 out of 10. It could be the preparation and post opp treatment. However I feel as if I followed doctors orders and everyone on here. For pre opp a week before hand I started taking EMERGENC (raspberry, but any flavor works) 1000mg twice a day. Then two days before surgery I started taking ARNICA pills twice a day. Also I admit I do have a pretty heavy drinking habit with my friends so I quit five days prior to give my body time to recover and have been heavy on the water to make sure and dehydrate.


Following surgery same routine. Arnica twice a day, EMERGENCY twice a day and the Arnica gel three times a day. The only problem I've ran into so far was day two over exerting myself and walking around to much, I ended up passing out in the bathroom while brushing my teeth ( thankfully I had someone taking care of me)
Asides from that day 5 and we're going strong, nervous still to see the result, we smoothed the hump, straightened out the nose and lightly touched the tip, no adjustment to the nostrils though.
