I was an early bloomer and had fairly full breasts...

I was an early bloomer and had fairly full breasts by the age of 13. By the time that I graduated high school, I was wearing a size 36DD bra. I've always had a slight frame and so I looked like I might tip over. I did everything that I could to hide them. I wore compression sports bras and very loose fitting tops. I had a difficult time with athletics due to the amount of weight that I was carrying up top. For years I struggled with wanting to have the reduction surgery. The idea of having my breasts sliced open just terrified me! So, I just suffered with the pain and discomfort. I developed back, shoulder and neck pain issues. Visited a chiropractor regularly for over 10 years! Until one day, I had a serious talk with a good friend who had undergone the procedure. I visited the doctor that performed her surgery. I have to say that he made me very uncomfortable. I felt like I was at a processing plant. It was all very rushed and impersonal. I left his office feeling like I didn't trust him and would never allow him to slice into my breasts. I gave up on the whole idea and went on with the pain. That is until one day after a Pilates class, one of the ladies that I had recently befriended began discussing atheist possibility of having a breast lift and some liposuction done. She was discussing this with one if the other ladies in the class. It was then that she explained to me that the other lady happened to be the director of a plastic surgery clinic nearby. My friend was raving about the surgeon and his stellar reputation. I ended up telling the director of the clinic about the physical toll that my very large breasts had taken over the last few decades. She was extremely sympathetic having had a similar experience. She became my miracle worker! She got me an appointment about and hour after class on the same day!!! Before the consult with the doctor, I was introduced to my procedure manager. She was very professional and extremely sweet. She proceeded to show me pictures of women whom had undergone the procedure so that I could better grasp the before and after. I was then led into an exam room where I met with Dr. Salzhauer. He was nothing short of amazing! A true gentleman! He very patiently listened to my story and made me feel entirely at ease. He took all of the necessary measurements and proceeded to explain in detail what the procedure would entail. He satisfactorily answered all of my questions and to my relief explained that I would not be needing implants. We shook hands and I thanked him ever so much for his time and attention. I went back over to my procedure manager's office and she explained what to expect on the day of the procedure and what meds to stay away from at least two weeks prior to the procedure and everything else that would be required beforehand. I was glad to find out that the procedure would be performed in house. The 5th floor is for consults. The 3rd floor is for post-op and the 2nd floor is for surgery. Well, 3 weeks later in was in the operating room. The next day a post-op nurse came to my house to change my bandages and to help me bathe. She was excellent and so very caring. I have been going in for my follow up appointments and the healing process is proceeding quite well. My breasts are taking a more natural shape and I am now able to work out without pain. I also no longer wake up with shoulder a neck pain first thing in the morning. I am so happy that I found Dr. Salzhauer! Thanks to him and his stay for their great diligence and care, I now have the quality of life that I had only ever before imagined.
