Hello, I had saline 360cc implants for about a year, but never really felt comfortable with them. Afterall, it is a foreign body, and doesnt belong to your body. It limited my daily activities, sleeping positions, sports I could participate in, etc. To cut the long story short, I didnt feel like myself, and decided to go back to the good old small A-B cup. I was freaking out at first, as I read plenty of warnings that breast will droop, and have stretchmarks, etc. So, I did a very thorough search of the surgeon, whom Im gonna trust my breasts to!..:)..Michael Salzhauer from Bal Harbour plastic surgery office did a great job. He entered throught the same incision, that my initial surgeon inserted them, so I have one little scar under each nipple, which are getting better ans less visible with time. I have NO stretchmarks, and my breast didnt droop at all after implant removal! Im lucky my body bounced back to looking pretty much like before the surgery. Depending on the day of the month, I can be pretty flat(A cup), but sometimes(mid-cycle or before my period) it's a full B. Im OK with these "fluctuations" as this is all a natural part of a woman's hormonal changes during the month, and there is no reason to get implants just because you are "flat" a few days in a month. Your health is more important, and that was my focus.
I also liked the fact that Bal Harbour Surgery has a surgery facility right in their building, on a separate floor, and a doctor, who gives you a clearance for surgery right there and then. Huge advantage, as you don't have to drive all over South Florida, looking for a doctor, and then to a hospital for the surgery itself. It saves you three trips. Very convenient.
I would highly recommend Dr. Salzhauer to anybody who is thinking of removing or replacing implants, getting a breast lift or any cosmetic procedure, because he is very articulate, delicate, organized, and a professional at what he does. His staff is friendly, welcoming, understanding, and sincere. Good energy overall, and Im very satisfied with my experience with Bal Harbour Surgery, and Dr. Salzhauer in particular. I will absolutely consider this office in the future, if there will be a need with time..;-)
