How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

One week post op

One week on...Feeling very sore in the mornings, stiff and aching but once I move around a little things loosen up. I'm still a week away from getting my stitches out so have been careful showering and sleeping propped up. Laying on my back for too long is very uncomfortable.
I have finished the antibiotics and I'm not longer needing the pain killers.
I have been getting a sharp stabbing pain in one nipple, I'm told it's normal and may last a few more weeks! :/
BM are at a minimum I think due to all my muscles being sore.

Generally I'm really happy, I'm venturing out today for a bra shopping trip, not sure how long I will last. I get very tired quickly. Photos to follow...

Provider Review

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
160 Commonwealth Avenue, Unit L1, Boston, Massachusetts

Having only had a week to arrange the consultation and procedure! I have been very fortunate that the Dr has managed to squeeze me in. I had my first contact with Dr Seckel via real self. He got back to me straight away and once I spoke with Kathy at the practice office I was sure I had made the right choice. I had been contacting various plastics surgeries asking questions etc but felt Dr Seckel was the most helpful. He answered all my questions and sent me information, I feel vey confident in him and his team. Looking forward to meeting them all... Next week!! :-D
